MotorMart, the Klerksdorp based motor dealership, has partnered with the VW Challenge which will now be known as the MotorMart VW Challenge.
Solly and Mohamed Dangor started MotorMart in 2008 and the company has grown over the years. The company now supplies both new and used vehicles from its state-of-the-art showroom in Klerksdorp. Mohamed prides himself in offering his personal attention to every customer. The dealership offers finance through all of South Africa’s major banks and can arrange delivery of your new or used car throughout the country.
Hankook Tyres South Africa has also come on board for 2018. They will be supplying tyre for all three MotorMart VW Challenge categories.
The 2018 MotorMart VW Challenge will see competitors tacking at least eight rounds, with a possible ninth in the planning stages. The season gets underway at Midvaal Raceway in Meyerton on 17 February before moving to Zwartkops Raceway in Pretoria for the second round four weeks later.
The annual away race is next on the calendar. This year the drivers will head for Cape Town’s Killarney Raceway where round three will happen on 21 April. Red Star Raceway, just outside Delmas is the venue for round four on 2 June before the fifth round which should take place in late June or early July at Dezzi Raceway on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast.
Round 6 sees the drivers back at Red Star on 4 August before they make a second visit to Zwartkops Raceway for round seven on 8 September. Phakisa Freeway, between Welkom and Odendaalsrus in the Free State, is the next stop. The eighth round takes place there on 6 October before the season finale which takes place at Zwartkops Raceway on 10 November.
